The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) is administered by the Secondary School Admission Test Board (SSATB). The SSAT is administered to students in grades 5-11 to determine placement into private and independent junior and high schools. Students in grades 5-7 take the lower level exam, and students in grades 8-11 take the upper level exam. Exams are administered eight times a year at testing centers across the world.
