Ted Chan / Founder & Executive Chairman

As an entrepreneur, Ted Chan create values through deep market expertise, media content process development, and technical knowledge. With 10+ years as a management consultant and solution architect, Ted lead teams that construct scalable technology products from business case to execution and technical implementation.

Ted built Upward Mobility, one of the leaders in mobile education delivery with more than 150 apps available across six platforms, as well as PracticeQuiz.com, one of the world's most popular free test prep sites. Between our business lines, we will provide cost-effective educational materials to several million users.

In his social endeavors, Ted seeks to create scalable models of transformation. In 2010, Ted was part of a team that won the Vodafone mHealth Innovation prize.

Victoria Slingerland / President & Co-Founder

Victoria has experience in financial services, entrepreneurship and international development. Victoria is President of PracticeQuiz.com and oversees financial operations.

She is the President and Co-Founder of Upward Mobility, a Boston-based software company that creates high end professional educational content and makes it available through innovative mobile platforms. Upward Mobility has more than 150 apps available globally on iPhone, Android, Palm, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, and Amazon Kindle. Victoria's drive to create sustainable economic models was the driving force behind the creation of PracticeQuiz.

Victoria worked for nine years in investment management for two leading global asset managers and has consulted on projects relating to micro-enterprise development, urban livelihoods, microfinance, and financial inclusion in developing countries and the US. She has a master's degree from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy http://fletcher.tufts.edu, where she focused on Development Economics and Human Security, and is a graduate of Tufts University http://www.tufts.edu with a BA in International Relations and Spanish.
