The International Baccalaureate (IB) Literature exam is part of IB’s diploma program aimed at preparing students aged 16-19 for university level courses. The IB English diploma exam is assessed through both internal and external assessment. The grading criterion per section is contingent upon candidate level; candidates may be at Standard Level (SL) or Higher Level (HL).
The IB English external assessment consists of three papers: one based on work from the IB English course, and two written papers externally set and assessed.
